JBL PD743 & PD746 Line Array System

The PD Series loudspeaker rigging system provides a simple and predictable way to fly JBL Professional PD Series loudspeakers, individually or in a line array configuration up, to three cabinets deep. This system accommodates both the PD743 and PD764 cabinets are accommodated.

This system’s side straps anchor to the cabinet’s own load rated attach points and provide a solid link between the upper and lower cabinets, which assumes the entire load of up to three cabinets in the column. Each link pivots from cabinet to
cabinet, allowing the speakers to splay (tilt) from the tightly packed position to any larger angle.

Setting the down tilt splay angles is accommodated by way of the Steerables® Adjustable Cable Coupler, which provides an infinite range of locking positions and is sold separately. In the event that overhead suspension points
are not conveniently located in the venue, an optional overhead T-shaped truss is available to accommodate the suspension and aiming of PD Series cabinets and to provide a flexible method of rigging them inside any venue.
